In life, we don’t see things as they are; we see them as we are. And here are notes of the things I saw and the seconds I seized.
Excerpts from inside my head, the books I’ve read, a distant time and place, and travels in cyberspace.
On being and becoming. Of motherhood moments, setbacks and comebacks, the joy of family and friends, and the time spent with the ones who matter most.
These are fragments of who I am, what has been, and where I am now – all preserved in woven words of redemption.
SO it is: we are not given a short life but we make it short, and we are not ill-supplied but wasteful of it.– seneca
I’m not normal. I’m Norhalma, normally.
I’m a Web Developer. I was born and raised in Manila, Philippines, and moved to Seattle, WA last 2010. Yup! From a year-round tropical paradise to where the sun shines 152 days a year – on average.
Needless to say, I’m adrift in a world filled with coffee and rain. To keep me from drowning – after piling enough courage and heaps of creative confidence – I’ve finally carved out my own little webspace.
Welcome, I’m glad you’re here.
